Based on Patrick Ottaway’s extensive experience, particular fields of expertise and contacts in the archaeological world, PJO Archaeology offers the following services to academic institutions and archaeological contractors:
- Research on the archaeology of Britain and northern Europe, especially focused on the Roman and medieval periods;
- Report preparation - from the processing of field data to assessment of research potential, and analysis and preparation for publication;
- Academic editing of texts in preparation for publication;
- Assessment and analysis of archaeological artefacts with a particular specialism in iron and other metal artefacts;
